The letters must use a DATE field to display the date. These automatically
show the current date when fields are updated. You need to replace these DATE fields with CREATEDATE fields which display the date a document was created. You could use a macro to process a batch folder of such files. I include one in my AddIn for processing batch files: http://gregmaxey.mvps.org/Process_Batch_Folder.htm whitehead wrote: When I open a copy of correspondence attached as an email Outlook automatically changes the date from that of the original letter to the date that I open it - any sggestions as to how to prevent this - if able to do so - can it be done retroactively to letters on which the dates that have already been changed?
