Default How do I open a WORD document in windows ME version of Works??

I can save a works document and pull it into word, but I can't figure out how
to go the other way.

With the Office Word 2003 document open, choose Save As from the File drop
down menu. Then at the bottom of the dialog box, click on the down arrow at
the right of the Save As Type box. There are two versions of Works at the
bottom of the list.

I don't normally use Works, but I am pretty sure that only the most recent
versions (certainly from Version 7) can open Word documents directly. If not
then the answer is to save from Word in a format that Works can handle such
as RFT or Works native format.
