Word 2000 fails DDE connection to Excel data
Existing mail merge letters I have created now will not connect with the
Excel data source. Either get a Waiting for connection to Excel note at bottom of screen or Initiating DDE connection - but nothing happens, Word hangs and have to close it. Trying to set up new mail merge letter using Excel as data source causes Mail Merge Helper to hang and again nothing happens. This is exasperating as it has always worked so smoothly before - anyone help on this? |
