Default Numerals

In my document, when I change the font of the text, the numerals does not
change. It remains in the same font. Can anyone help?

Numerals in what? Line numbers? Page numbers? Numbered list?

Numerals in the document. Let us say if I type : "I AM 45 YEARS OLD" and
change the font, the number 45 will not change. It will remain in the same
font and by default it is coming as Times New Roman. The default font for
word is set to Arial.
