There is a menu command File | Send To | Mail Recipient (as Attachment). If
Outlook is your default mail client, this will create an Outlook message and attach the file. Are you wanting to do something different? If this is what you want, you can open Tools | Customize, find the "Mail Recipient (as Attachment)" button, and drag it to a toolbar. -- Suzanne S. Hi Josh~
Depending on how your system is configured and which version of Office you have, this may already be set up. While in Word, click on file--- send to. In there look for "mail recipient as attachment". If Outlook is your default mail program, it should send through there. Hope this helps "Josh" wrote: How do i create a button on a word document that when clicked on will open outlook and add that document as an attachment? Thanks |
