File open dialog default path
User working in Word selects File | Open, then opens a document from a
network drive. Each time user selects File | Open after that, it continues to default to the last path opened on the network drive (this is the expected behavior). However, if user has Word open and locks computer using the Windows + L keys, then unlocks it and selects File | Open again in Word, it defaults back to My Documents folder (or whatever your default file location is set for in Word). Can anyone explain or suggest a solution? -- Gail Hines Texas State Auditor's Office 512-936-9760 |

File open dialog default path
my problem is that the expected behavior isn't consistent on all network
folders. how do i make it so that this behavior is what happens everytime a network folder is accessed? serrvall "hinesgg" wrote: User working in Word selects File | Open, then opens a document from a network drive.
