Is there a keyboard shortcut to insert a text-wrapping break?

I am creating procedures and I like to have pictures next to some of the
text. Is a text-wrapping break the best way to keep a numbered list together
with corresponding pictures?

Also, how do I keep the text from wrapping to the other side of the picture
(left text, right picture). So far, I have been adding a negative crop to
the right of the picture, but I am not sure that is the most efficient way.

IMO the best solution is to use a two column borderless table. Put the
text in one column and the pictures in the other.

Shift+Enter starts a new line without starting a new paragraph. But, how
about a 2 column table with the pictures in one column and the text in
the other?

There is no built-in keyboard shortcut for a text-wrapping break, and there
doesn't seem to be any way to assign one since this command is not listed in
Tools | Customize | Keyboard (or even in the All Commands list for
toolbars). The break itself is not a character that can be identified, but
it can be copied and pasted, so presumably it could be saved as an AutoText
entry and a keyboard shortcut assigned to that.

As for preventing wrapping to the wrong side, you can control the "Distance
from text" on every side of the picture in the Advanced Layout dialog of
Format Picture.

As others have said, however, a two-column (borderless) table is probably an
easier approach to your layout.
