Default "Quoting" in email replies

I've been receiving email replies that have all the forgoing information
delineated with a verticle line on the left. How do I do that when I reply?

Hi Sog2,

It depends on the feature set of your email application. In Outlook Express you can change from to |
from Tools=Options=Send=Mail Sending Format=Settings.
