Default Word 2007

I modified a document (edits and formatting) and saved it. On my computer
the document looks fine. When I open the document on other computers the
edits and formatting changes do not appear, but the last modified time
reflects the changes made. What settings am I missing on the other computers
to show the changes?

I resaved the document to 2003 and that file opens correctly on other
computers. Any suggestions why this happened?
