2007 Word-short-cuts
They just installed Word 2007 and I can't figure out how to program a
short-cut with a symbol I use alot (degrees) instead of always inserting it. |

You can do it the same way as in previous versions: Open the Insert Symbol dialog -- it sounds like you found that already -- select the symbol you want, and click the Shortcut Key button at the bottom of the dialog. In the case of the degree symbol, there's already a shortcut: Press and release the Ctrl and @ keys, then press the spacebar.
