Default How do I remove hard returns from text imported into Word?

Text generated by another program automatically inserts hard returns or line
breaks. We need to remove almost all of them. How can this be done?

Use Edit - Replace. Search for: ^l and replace with nothing or press
spacbar in the "replace with" box depending on how the document is
formatted.
