How do I get Word to automatically underline & activate as a Hyperlink email
addresses?

Default automatic underlinng of email addresses

In the AutoCorrect dialog box, click the AutoFormat As You Type tab. Under
"Replace as you type," select "Internet and network paths with hyperlinks."

To display the dialog box:

- Click Tools | AutoCorrect Options (Word 2003).

- In Word 2007, click Office button | Word Options. In the Proofing
category, click the AutoCorrect Options button.
