how do i change the spacing between sentences in the whole document?

If it's the space after the period at the end of the sentence, use
EditReplace to replace the period and a space with whatever you want instead - either a period and two spaces if you want to increase it. If it's the vertical spacing between paragraphs, user FormatParagraph and increase the space after the paragraph in the Format Paragraph dialog. -- Hope this helps.
