MSWord track changes baloons not printing
I have several MS Word 2002 SP3 documents where I have just turned on track
changes and want to show the changes using the 'baloons to print' option. I've gone to options/track changes and checked the 'use baloons to print' box, but the changes are still being shown as underlined (with no baloons) in the printout and on the screen. Interestingly, in one of the documents that has two sections, it prints and displays correctly (with baloons) in one of the sections, but not in the other. Can anyone help me with this? |

Check to confirm that you are displaying the problematic docs in "Web Layout"
or "Print Layout" (via the View menu). They are all in "print layout". I don't use Word to create web pages so I've
never used the "Web Layout" option. "AmandaW" wrote: Check to confirm that you are displaying the problematic docs in "Web Layout" or "Print Layout" (via the View menu). Are you sure that the underlined portions are actually tracked changes and
not just underlined text? -- Suzanne S. I figured out the problem. On the reviewing task bar I had 'final showing
markup' selected in the 'display for review' box. I changed this to 'original showing markup' and my baloons were displayed. "Suzanne S.
