Default how am I able to find amount of memory left on computer

I need to find what memory I have left on my computer I am on XP how can I
find this out?

Not sure what you mean by 'left' - memory usage is a dynamic thing, changing
continuously as you work. Press Ctrl-Alt-Delete, select Task Manager,
display the Performance tab, if you want to watch; but there's not much you
can do with this information unless you're a techie.

Rio Rita is probably referring to unused HD space. If you select the hard
drive in Windows Explorer, the status bar will state the disk free space
(I've got 53.9 GB on an 80 GB drive, despite saving *everything* that comes
down the pike).
