Assuming that the numbers are actually in a table, and not just arranged
using tabs or spaces, set the width of the column that contains the numbers so that it is just barely wide enough to hold the longest line. Then select the cell containing the bottom number and click on Format - Borders and Shading. On the Borders tab, select a bottom border for the cell. I hope this helps. Idaho Word Man has given you good advice, but what I usually do (and I
suspect I'm far from in the minority) is add spaces to the left of the number and underline them. -- Suzanne S. thanks for your response; unfortunately, doing what you suggested forced the
cell to be smaller. I did what Suzanne Barnhill suggested and that worked just fine. I appreciate your help.
