Sometimes (most often) when I open a new document or an existing document,
and I want to change the font of character size, Word hangs up€¦€�not
responding€�. Occasionally when I save a document, I get the message in the
bottom bar €œWord is preparing to background save the document€¦€� then it just
sits there. All of these instances will resolve themselves if I let it sit
there for a couple of minutes. I have a ten month old laptop running vista
home premium with an Intel Core 2 T5600 @ 1.83 GHz and 2 G of memory. I
wouldnt think it should even wink at something as simple as this.
Any suggestions?
