Default problems w/merged labels

I'm merging an excel spreadsheet into word labels...got all the fields
figured out, but when I complete the merge, I only get the first label of
each page. It'll give me all 400 or so labels, but only using the 1st label
on ea page, leaving 29 others blank. Any ideas?

It sounds as if you still need to "propagate" the field definitions in
the first label to all the other labels on the sheet, prior to
completing the merge. Word copies the fields and inserts a { NEXT }
field at the beginning of each label except the first. In Word
2002/2003, there's a section titled "Replicate Labels" with an "Update
labels" button on Step 4 of the Mail Merge Wizard, or you can use
View-Toolbars to enable the Maimerge toolbar and find the "Propagate
Labels" button - typically 4 buttons to the right of the "Insert Word
Field" button. In Word 2007, there's an "Update Labels" button in the
Write & Insert Fields group in the Mailings Tab.
