Pleading lines do not print all the numbers on the 2nd page

Using Word 2003 the pleading numbers and lines stop printing after 23 on the
second page and subsuquent even though you see them on the screen. The first
page prints correctly to 26. The same document works fine on Word 97, 2000,
2002/XP.
Has anybody seen this before and how do I fix it?
