TOC puts the Chapter title in the previous section.
I have Chapter titles to an 8 chapter document. When I insert the TOC it
always puts the Chapter is the previous section. How do I get it to show in correct section? It hyperlinks correctly, but the displayed page, which includes the Section and Page is incorrect. Can anyone help? |

Are any of these headings in frames or tables?

Are they preceded by manual page breaks?

They are all preceded by a section page (next page) break.

I'm not sure how the formatting affects section breaks; manual page breaks
inherit the style of the following paragraph, and this frequently causes problems in TOCs. Can you send a small sample of the problem doc to me by email? -- Suzanne S.
