Combining 5 documents to one
I have 5 chapters in separate doc files. I want to add them to one file. I am
concerned about the endnotes which are references. How can I keep the endnotes at the end of separate chapters. some of the endnotes may be repeat and have lot of crossref. So I do not want to disturb the existing formating. |

Insert section breaks between the documents and set the endnotes to restart
in each section. -- Suzanne S. Combining 5 documents to one
Hello Suzzanne,
Thanks for the help. It worked fine. One more doubt. I have a table in the word file. According to guidelines forthe margins, it is out. I cannot fit it even reducing font size. I would like to make it horizontal. If I change the orientation to landscape, the orientation of page number also changes. I would like to keep everything else constant but change the orientation of table. Is there any such facility in word or i have to draw the table again? See http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Formatting...apeSection.htm. Note,
however, that if you are restarting endnote numbering in each section, this will cause havoc. If you can put the landscape table at the end of a chapter, that will help. -- Suzanne S.
