Default pasteing

I scanned a doc to ms word
I can copy it to other ms products but It will not copy it to a message
board window. Any ideas

It is still a picture of text rather than text. You need to run it through
OCR software (should have come with scanner).

The OCR doeosn't produce the same doc it all jarbled and ugly.

That is the nature of OCR. Different programs give different results,
though.

It does help to scan the document with the recommended scanner settings
indicated by the OCR software.
