Default Understand of this section break

Hello,

We have a letter/memo with a continuous section break after the RE line. I'm
trying to understand the effect of setting the top/bottom margins in both the
first section (1st half of page) and in the 2nd section (2nd half of the
page).

i.e does the bottom margin in section 1 have any effect on the page or does
it use the section 2 settings?

These are two excellent articles on Section Breaks. They may clear up the
confusion you are having with Headers and Footers vs. Section Breaks.

What is the point of the Continuous break? It may not be needed at all. See
