word makes crazy page breakes
in a large document, I experience that word 2003 automaticly makes a page
break right before a new paragraph - when I don't want it to!! sometimes I can succed in getting the text back on the right page, but offen it is only possible, if I make like 5-10 blank lines (by pressing return) It can be, that it makes a pagebreak after only 4 lines of text. Pleace help- it is a important report that has to look it's best! -- Thanx... Christina |

Make sure that the problem paragraphs don't have "Page break before"
enabled (in FormatParagraph, Line and Page Breaks tab). Another possible problem is that "Keep with next" (in the same dialog box) is enabled for multiple successive paragraphs, which might also create unexpected page breaks, as Word tries to honor the setting. If you are familiar with paragraph styles, make sure that the options are correct for those, too. -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "christina" wrote in message ... in a large document, I experience that word 2003 automaticly makes a page break right before a new paragraph - when I don't want it to!! sometimes I can succed in getting the text back on the right page, but offen it is only possible, if I make like 5-10 blank lines (by pressing return) It can be, that it makes a pagebreak after only 4 lines of text. "Keep lines together" formatting will also exacerbate the problem.
