Default Mail Merge Labels

I am doing a mail merge to do file folder labels for new year. I have
selected proper maker and label number, but when I print the labels they
print to high and I loose part of the information. I don't loose entire
line, just part of it. How can I correct this? I am using Word 2003 and I
have tried changing top margin on the label I am using, but it doesn't seem
to work very well.

It sounds like your printer may be having a problem feeding the label stock.
If you print to plain paper, are the labels lined up correctly?

Hope this helps.

Yes I have the same problem when I print on plain paper. Is there a way to
adjust margin lowering the text on the label and having it apply to all
labels in the mail merge?

If you are using a layout that matches the labels, you should not have to
make any adjustments, but in the Label Options dialog (where you select the
label, if you click on details, you can modify the layout. If it is all
labels on the sheet that are too high, it would be the top margin setting
that you need to adjust.

And the common reason for this is that you have a header in normal.dot.

If you have ever saved a header/footer in normal.dot you are stuck with it.
You would have to rename normal.dot to get rid of it. You can check by
starting Word in safe mode (hold the CTRL key whilst starting Word)
