Default Why does my Word 2003 automatically start with cursor in the Heade

For some reason, my Word 2003 has suddenly taken to starting with the cursor
in the Header every time it opens. The only way to bring it down is to
double-click on the main body of the page. Why has this suddenly started
happening? I've never seen it before and I haven't changed any defaults (to
my knowledge).

It's so annoying! Help!!!!

In Word, click on Tools | Options | View | check the "White space
between pages" box | OK.
