Default document view looks like an email

I opened a document that someone else worked on, and it looks like it's
ready to be sent as an email. It has fields for an email across the top and
I can't get rid of it. The document is where the body of the message would
be. I even tried to send it to myself ... my attempt to free the document
from the email portion, but I can't do it. I don't really want to create a
new document, but might have to.

Has anyone else run into this before? I'm miffed by it.

Thanks.

Just click on the EMAIL button on the standard toolbar.

Hmmm .... don't see one. In case I didn't recognize it, I passed the mouse
over each button on the standard toolbar and nothing comes up as an email.
Perhaps it doesn't view, so I'll go into customize and see if I can get it
to show and deselect it .... ????

Terry ... I added the email button to see if it was selected, but it wasn't.
What's additionally strange, is that it's wanting to install outlook
express ----use Lotus notes here (but I use outlook express for the
newsgroups).

Well I guess it was created in Outlook and you are using Lotus Notes and/or
OE. I'm not sure what you can do other tan ask the originator to toggle off
the Email function and resend the document.
