[Joe[_5_]]

One of our Senior Club members here has a Windows XP Computer with Office
2003 installed.

She has received a newsletter composed as a .cwk file and we are unable to
find a way to open it.

Is there a converter available that can be downloaded for free or is there
some method available that would allow her to do this

I have checked the CD for Office 2003 and Office 2007 but I'm unable to find
a converter in any of the components.

I have also tried to open it with the recover text from any file function
but without success

Can anyone assist please?

That's ClarisWorks. You'll need to get the sender to send it in some other
format unless you have access to either ClarisWorks or Appleworks...

Thanks Gordon, I have to agree with you about a newsletter being sent in
that format. Apparently it is a new group and the author has a MAC so thinks
everyone else has the same.

I have advised her to contact the author and suggest that they reopen the
file and in Save As it be saved as a Word Document. I don't know if I can
give any better advice.

Thanks JoAnn, yes that's another option, the problem is trying to get them
to do that sort of thing. We can only try eh?
