Default Can I make down arrow not skip a page in Word 2 page print layout?

I like to view the document I'm editing in print layout with two pages side
by side. I would also like to use the arrow keys to navigate the document,
but when I use the up and down arrows the cursor always stays on either the
left hand pages or the right hand pages (i.e., it skips a page). Is there
any way to change this behaviour? The behaviour seems natural if I am
navigating the document to read it, but somewhat annoying if I'm trying to
edit (and this is what I'm usually doing when I'm using the keyboard, as I'll
likely use my mouse scroll wheel in the previous case).

Note that filler pages, which might be present if you added an Odd Page or
Even Page section break, will not be accessible in Print Layout view.

Default Can I make down arrow not skip a page in Word 2 page print lay

I suppose I could add a few details. I'm using "Office Word 2008" with
Vista. I'm typing nothing more than simple text into an empty document with
2 page print layout. When I arrive at page 3 and use the up arrow to go back
to editing what I just typed, I arrive instead on the bottom of page 1.

Is this more of a feature request? I really don't see any way to customize
word, but perhaps I just haven't looked hard enough.

If Word 2008 is a Mac version (the latest Windows version is 2007), you may
want to ask in the Macword NGs at
