Hello, I have 3 figures in my documents and have successfully added the
captions under the pictures and have created by Table of Figures. When I add
a new figure or picture, my Table of Figures doesn't update to reflect the
added Figure. Is it possible to automatically refresh the Table when I add a
new Figure?

You have to refresh by clicking in the ToF and press F9 (UpdateFields
command).

The TOC is a field and most fields do not update automatically. To update the
Table of Figures, click in it and press F9. Alternatively, select the entire
document (Ctrl+A) and press F9 to update all fields in the main body of the
document including the Table of Figures.
