Thumbs up Answer: underline thickness

Yes, you can change the thickness of underlining in Microsoft Word. Here's how:
  1. Select the text you want to underline.
  2. Click on the "Home" tab in the ribbon.
  3. Click on the arrow next to the "Underline" button in the "Font" group.
  4. Select "More Underlines" from the dropdown menu.
  5. In the "Underline Style" section, select the type of underline you want to use.
  6. In the "Underline Color" section, select the color you want to use.
  7. In the "Underline Thickness" section, use the up and down arrows to adjust the thickness of the underline.
  8. Click "OK" to apply the changes.

Note that the thickness options may vary depending on the type of underline you choose. Also, keep in mind that changing the underline thickness may affect the spacing between lines of text, so you may need to adjust the line spacing as well.

Default underline thickness

Depends upon the program.

If Word, select the text you want underline, then press Ctrl+Shift+F
(Format - Font). Click the dropdown arrow next to Underline style: There are
a variety of options, including some thicker than the default.

You'll find similar options for PowerPoint.
