Default Blank Page (not because of a table)

We have a document with a blank last page. One paragraph mark on it, no text.
It can not be deleted. While the previous page does have a table on it, it
does not extend to the bottom on the page.
The document was saved as a docx file from Front Page.
Any suggestions as to how to remove that page?
Many thanks, as usual.

Check to see whether the single paragraph is formatted as "Page break
before." Or perhaps it is preceded by a manual page or setion break? See
