Default Why wont' tabs etc. snap to metric positions in Word 2003?

In Word 97, when set to metric measurements, the tab positions and
margins/indents on the ruler snapped to the nearest 2.5mm. In Word 2003 they
appear to snap to inch positions regardless. Why? And can that be reset?

The increments available depends on the grid settings in Word. To
override the grid, try holding the Alt key while dragging.

Alternatively, use the Tabs dialog box to set exact measurements.
Note, however, that the dialog box may not allow you to make small
adjustments to an existing tab stop. If that happens, you can delete
and recreate the tab stop instead.

To change the grid settings in Word: Click the Draw button on the
Drawing toolbar, and then click Grid. Change the measurements for
horizontal and vertical spacing as desired.

That's cracked it. Thanks. Just got to remember to set the grid to something fine again when doing drawings, and vice versa.
