I have somehow ended up with Wordpad on my PC and cannot get word back on,
can anyone help as I can't do tables etc until word is reinstated. I have
tried reinstalling to no avail. The problems have been since I downloaded
the free trial of excel of the website

Most likely this is just a file association issue. You need to "reregister"
Word to reestablish its ownership of the .doc and .dot file associations in
the Windows Registry. See
