Default Customised toolbar not seen after re-booting the system

I create the customised toolbar. When I exit out of Word and again enter the
Word, it is seen in the list. However, when I re-boot the computer, it is not
seen in the Word List. It means that the customised toolbar is not saved.

Hi ?B?U2hyaWthbnQ=?=,

Are you working in a corporate network setting?

Yes. I am working in Corp Network environment with Novel Lan.
But I thought that I am starting Word from my local PC and saving files in
local hard disk. I was not getting this problem earlier. Maybe I should boot
the computer with the check box ticked for 'Workstation Only' so that I am
not working in network environment.

The reason I asked is, that in some corporate networks the IT department tries to
take control of Normal.dot (usually for security reasons). For example, they'll
delete the Normal.dot every time you log off. Since, by default, changes to toolbars
are saved in Normal.dot, this would explain what you're seeing. You might ask IT if
something has changed, if this is what's happening, and what they recommend.

I've consulted for companies that do this, and their recommendation is generally
that the users should save their customizations specifically in another template.
This template is saved in their STARTUP folder (for Word, not Windows or Office),
and thus loads automatically when Word starts (just like Normal.dot).

I create the customised toolbar. When I exit out of Word and again enter the
Word, it is seen in the list. However, when I re-boot the computer, it is not
seen in the Word List. It means that the customised toolbar is not saved.
