Default how do I get an "old english" style font ?

I like the "old english" style font which exists in wordperfect and MS Office
professional but apparently not in regular MS Office. Is it hidden or is
there software which will add font styles?

Thumbs up Answer: how do I get an "old english" style font ?

Steps to get a Blackletter font in Microsoft Word:
  1. Search for a Blackletter font on a third-party website such as dafont.com, fontsquirrel.com, or myfonts.com.
  2. Download the font file and install it on your computer by double-clicking on the file and following the prompts.
  3. Open Microsoft Word and select the font dropdown menu.
  4. Scroll through the list of fonts until you find the Blackletter font you installed.
  5. Select the Blackletter font and start typing in your document.

Note: If you don't have access to a Blackletter font in another program or in another format, you may need to purchase one or find a free alternative online.

The Old English Text font is/was supplied with Greetings 99, Home Publishing
99, Office 97 Small Business Edition SR2, Office Professional Edition 2003,
Picture It! 2000, Picture It! 2002, Publisher 2000, Publisher 98, and
TrueType Font Pack 2. If you have any of those applications, you will find
it on the install disks. You may purchase the font from
http://www.ascenderfonts.com/Merchan...ory_Code=OLD01.
Otherwise, search for any of hundreds of Old English fonts (many free)
available online.
