Default Changing the portrait and landscape view seems to be locked

My layout view for portrait and landscape will not change. What to do? Also

What version of Word are you using? Is your template locked? Click
Tools Protect document...is it showing UNPROTECT? Is this a custom
template from your business or just a blank page in your own version
of Word?
