business letter date line
I use the vertical alignment feature in Word to center my letters on
letterhead. My 1st question is, when using this feature, where should I be placing my date line? Should it still be 2 inches from the top of the paper, 2 lines from the bottom of the letterhead, or just place it and type my letter? Which brings me to my 2nd question, how many spaces do I need to put between the date line and the salutation? |

First, I don't think it's "appropriate" to vertically align your letters.
Second, date should be between 1/2 to 1 inch below logo. Third, one line (two returns, one space) between date and Salutation. ******************* ~Anne Troy www.OfficeArticles.com www.MyExpertsOnline.com "contract tech kl" contract tech wrote in message ...
