formatting of footnotes problem
Hi, In my document, I have lots of footnotes: 1 ... 200. Down at the bottom,
where the footnotes are, sometimes there is a double space between where one ends and the next one starts, like this: 1 Sitation about cows 3. All about fish others times, the footnotes have no spaces, like this 1 all about cows 2. all about fish 3. all about cats But, when I try to make the double spaces go away, when there is one between footnotes--I can't. Help thanks Steve |

Have you checked the paragraph formatting of the footnote paragraphs to see
if some have had Spacing Before/After applied? Are there empty paragraphs in some of the footnotes? This is easier to determine if you display nonprinting characters (Ctrl+*). -- Suzanne S. If I click on the paragraph button on the toolbar, this puts a little
paragrah marker at the end of each paragraph. Each paragraph has one of these at its end 1 Sitation about cows (1 par marker) 3. All about fish(1 par marker) Each paragraph is formatted single spaced. There is nothing to delete before or after. May I send you a sample as an attachment to look at? Thanks Steve "Suzanne S.
