Track Changes off/on
I have a document in which I have been tracking changes - however, parts of
the document I don't need to track the changes. When I turn track changes off - it removes them from the entire document - Is there anyway to track changes in certain areas of one document and not in other areas? Thanks. |

Track Changes off/on
Turning Track Changes off/on does not affect markup or the display of it. I
suspect that instead of turning Track Changes off (by double-clicking TRK on the status bar or clicking the Track Changes button on the Reviewing toolbar) you just changed the view from Final Showing Markup to Final. Your markup is still there unless you explicitly Accept All Changes in Document. -- Suzanne S.
