Can't preview templates
Whenever I create a new document from a Word template (*.dot), the preview
window in the templates box shows 'Preview not available'. Any idea why this is? |

Can't preview templates
The reason is that "Save preview picture" is cleared in the File |
Properties dialog box for the template. Usually, keeping "Save preview picture" unchecked is a good thing. Checking it for a template means that the setting will be transferred to each document created from the template--and substantially increase its size on disk. -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "Jonathan Finney" wrote in message ...
