Placing text in columns
The columns won't be balanced unless the multi-column section ends in a
Continuous section break (which of course is required if you have single-column text following). Even with the break, you can enable the Compatibility Option "Don't balance columns for Continuous section starts." -- Suzanne S. As I add text, Word (Office 2000) balances the columns for me. I would like to turn this feature off so that I can fill up one column at a time, but I can't remember where this control feature is located! Thanks for any assistance. Gordon Biggar Houston, Texas |
