Allow users to edit the Dictionary in Word.
Sometimes I add words that I would like to omit from the Dictionary, but am
unable to find this function. ---------------- This post is a suggestion for Microsoft, and Microsoft responds to the suggestions with the most votes. If you added these words yourself, by clicking the Add button for a word that the spell checker said was misspelled, then the word is in your custom dictionary, and it can be removed easily by the steps described at http://www.word.mvps.org/FAQs/General/EditCustomDic.htm. If the words are actually in the main dictionary that comes with Word, you can't really remove them, but you can create a file that tells Word to ignore the dictionary and mark the words as misspelled.
