Default Creating a wmf file

I am trying to embed some logo into a Word 2000 document. How can I convert
the logo to a wmf file to avoid a large file size?

Neither MS Photo Editor (which comes with Office 2000) or MS
Paint (which comes with Windows) can export to .wmf format.
You'll need to convert the file with a graphics editing program.

I have Photoshop 6.0 but when I open the file and do 'Save As', I do not get
the wmf option. How can I export the file to wmf in Photoshop?

I don't have Photoshop, so I don't know if it supports the .wmf
format. It probably doesn't, based on your description.
Irfanview supports .wmf files, and it's free at
http://www.irfanview.com .

Curious I converted a 31kb JPG file to WMF and the file size was 1.39mb!
When inserted into a document, the WMF version produced a document file size
9 times that of the jpg version. You may need to rethink this.
