Default date format problem in access 2002

In a table using access 2000 I can make a column's date format
as mm/dd/yy.
I am not able to do this in 2002. I get mm/dd/yyyy

example: 12/12/2004

Is there another way for a column format to give mm/dd/yy?
example: 12/12/04

hi jay,

This is a Word forum. Perhaps you should ask in an Access forum - and don't
multi-post.

Cheers
