Default Rounding

1. I have forgotten how to round formula results in a Word (2000) table,
and there don't seem to be any examples in help. I want, e.g., to
display a formula result that would be 1030 as having been rounded to
the nearest 100, or 1000.

2. I'd also like to have the table not display the light gray borders,
where no actual printing borders are specified.

Thanks.

DR,

Try {=round(X,-2)} where X is the formula (e.g., {=round(1030,-2)}
would round to 1000 {=round(1051,-2)} would round to 1100
To hide the gridline, press TableHide Gridlines

Thanks. I'm always conflicted about whether to do things in Word or
Excel when they have a lot of words and a lot of numbers. Inserting an
Excel object seems to have some problems in the implementation for 2000.
