Default Margins in Word 2003

I cannot print as close to the bottom of the paper in Word 2003 as I could in
Word WP. My minimum margin distance [same printer] is about half a centimetre
larger. Why? Can I do anything about it?

Is this a printer limitation or a result of line spacing? See
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Formatting...sDontPrint.htm and
http://home.earthlink.net/~wordfaqs/BottomLine.htm
