Default Table Sorting

I have a table with four columns, the first column is Event the second is
Date, I want to sort the columns by Event than by date, I went to the sort
menu and it will sort the Event but not the date, how do I sort both columns.

Thanks a million!

Are you saying that you could not use the "Then by" controls in the Sort
dialog?

Yes, I'm able to sort the first column, but not the second.

Maybe the entries in the "Date" column are not in a format that is
recognised as a date. What format are they in? Send me a copy of the
document if you wish.
