Default Printing Tables in Word 2003

I have a friend who is trying to print a table in a document in Word 2003 and
every time she tries to print it, it asks here to save the file (not as a
normal.doc file though) and then nothing happens.

I am sure there is a simple answer - can anyone help

Tell your friend (who is probably just pressing the Print button) to open
the Print dialog (Ctrl+P) and make sure that the correct printer is
selected. Most likely the active "printer" is the Microsoft Office Document
Image Writer, a fax driver, or the like. If this is true when she starts
Word, then she needs to change the default printer in the Windows Printers
folder.
