Default Clipart in calendar cells

Using Word 2003, putting clipart in date cells of a calendar is difficult.
It is not free floating. I need to use justifications and tabs to place a
clipart in the top right corner of a cell, for example. Any way to make it
easier?

You can make it free-floating by changing the wrapping to anything other
than In Line With Text, but you will probably find it even harder to
control.
